Diversity for The Chef in Heels

Hi There,

Wow time flys & I can't believe it is almost a month since my last post. So much happens so quickly these days.

The end of March I was very blessed to have been asked to create all the food for The Elightened Goddess Retreat for a friend in Mornington Peninsula Victoria. Ohhh & what a truly & beautiful weekend it was. There were 12 of us in total ready to immerse ourselves in total luxury & full on pampering. Just what every woman needs to do for herself from time to time. Free from boyfriends, husbands, children work & basically the outside world for a few days. We all laughed, cried, sang, danced, exercised, devoured great organic food, massages & the list goes on!
We even visited the Hot Springs in Mornington Peninsula late on the Saturday night. Naughtily eating Chocolate Pudding & Cream while in the Springs. Not really quite sure we were in fact allowed food in the Spring, but we did anyway. And the sky was lit up by the full moon. Truly magical.

The experience was awesome. I loved the creativity of introducing aspects of Raw Food Cuisine to people who had never experienced it before.
I prepared Gazpacho Soup, Juices, Smoothies, Cheesecakes, Chocolate Puddings, Corn Chowder, Zucchini Pasta with a Truffle Sauce, Lasgane & so on.

It was interesting to hear the participants say they couldn't believe they weren't ever hungry & didn't need to consume large amounts of food. Now that's what happens when you consume organic & raw food. The produce has so many more vitamins, minerals & nutrients in it & your body needs less food to feel satisfied because of the high nutrient content.

A luxury retreat is something that I highly recommend to everyone at least once in their lives. Yes for you guys as well. You deserve just as much taking care of & spoiling as women do from time to time

Have a delicious week everyone.

With love
